The Mystery that is Red…

Red March 15th, 2008

Regarding the Mystery of Me:

…at an early age, I was entranced by the magical Autumnal season with its changes of colors, scents and the expectation it always brought of  renewals.

Even now, in SO CA where there really IS no Fall season, that high expectancy greets me with as much if not more so of something “special” coming.

There is my passion for collecting, begun as early as seven years old when Avon boxes were the treasured loot, providing a clue to an aspect of my artist’s nature. Those boxes were envisioned as a colorful mobile for “someday.”

Other clues: the need to express myself through dreams that are collected in journals, songs memorized and performed both for my own pleasure and in the concert arena. Also, a serious love for reading books, leading to an equally serious love for writing my own thoughts.

Another clue: dancing for the sheer joy of it. The picture is beginning to take shape, yes? Later, the world of art is opened and explored, both as a creator in that world and an appreciator of it’s many wonders.

Add to this list of clues: passion for scent, whether as a perfume or in nature: flowers, woods, rain, the scent of a loved one.

Complete these clues by the adding the “hats” of: wife, mother to four and fur babies lover of Angel, Fina and Dannie. The locations changed from Southern California, to Phillipines, Florida and back again to SO CA.

Now, you haven’t completely solved the Mystery of Red-but you DO have a good start on that mystery.
