OK, this week the theme is “Home Sweet Home.” I decided to do up something representative of the first home we ever come to know.
“Moonwear”
This is my first challenge with Three Muses, theme being “Fashion.” I’ve had a song in my head for some days, “Seahorse” by Over the Rhine. This piece of imagery was inspired by it.

Sunday Postcard Art Entry
Once again, I’m joining in a weekly blog challenge game. This time it’s with Sunday Postcard Art. Hoping I get the specs correctly. Theme was “Pens/Pencils.”

First Attempt at Blog Roll Challenge Games
Greetings Travelers… Well actually, that’s not quite true. This is the second time I’m putting this here as I accidentally deleted the first upload. >;P Anyway, the challenge posed at Collage Obsession was to use the image of the strong man. I THINK I’ve worked out the linking dealie. The challenge was to use this “strong man” guy. Models courtesy of The Wandering Marionettes (daughter is one.) Tattoo courtesy of other daughter, Gabi. Wish me luck that I get it right on this upload. ;P
Mystery of Man Challenge
OK, I worked up the courage to submit a piece on Deviant Art for the “Mystery of Man” challenge, hosted by the comps-4-points group.
I was thinking about the Mysteries of Man, mind wandering to “man” as in MANKIND. What transpired from that musing was the problem of free will. I selected the icons of the Tree, Angel and Temptress.

What’s new…
Greetings Travelers… One would not be able to by the activity here on this blog dealie BUT I have been a very busy “dawgie” learning about digital art/scrap kits, continuing in the drawing/painting realm, AND finally figuring out how to post and access the wonderful (and too many to take in) art stuffage at DeviantArt.com. YIKES! As, Gloria Parker (I think it was) once said “I feel a fresh sin coming on.” My next challenge is to learn how to participate in a “blog roll” challenge. See, I still don’t QUITE have the techknow for how to upload animated gifs, “blinkies” as scrapdom calls them and other similar “tag” type things. BUT! I AM learning. I do hope to have some visitors here to help in the encouraging.

Heeeeere’s Henry!
Thank You, Suzi Blu
As mentioned earlier, I took two online classes from the generous, fun lady Suzi Blu. I’m showing the one piece herein, that’s as nearly done as any of the ones I’ve started at this point. The theme of the class was The Tudors, based not only in history but also on the TV series by that name. This is my Princess Elizabeth effort.
My travels into the world of “fine art”
Greetings Travelers… As mentioned in my last note, I was engaged in the first half of the year, in online classes that endeavored to teach me drawing/painting skills. Though I have much to learn I think I came a loooong way from where I started. See the pics coming for yourself.
This is where I started in the land of “drawing” with my son’s face, back in 1998. It’s embarassing to me, but I want to show the changes.
Has it really been that long?
Greetings Travelers… Wow, been a long time since I shared on this blog of mine. Let me say it’s NOT for lack of keeping busy learning new, artistic endeavors. AND, my grandbebe, Nova Joy is now a little over a year and a half and what FUN it’s been to do the “gramma” thing.
Let’s see what I’ve been up to: two online classes with Suzi Blu, had me FINALLY learning how to draw faces! I’ve wanted to know how to do that my whole life and I can comfortably say that I now can make a decent rendering. Also, I continue to hone my skills at digital collage (my Pisces girl herein is a recent piece.) What can I say-it’s another addiction for me. I plan in the next weeks to upload more pics, more useful sites I’ve discovered as well as some of the upcoming Travelers H’art collaborations. Keep an eye (or two) out for me.
